House

Plans:

• Use the multi-forma method
• One circular room 6 meters in diameter.
• Attached to a circular bathroom, with a circular jacuzzi bathtub, and a door to the outside.
• Total: 33 sq. meters
• At least one large "picture window" at least 1.5 meters wide
• A dome roof with at least one large skylight, hopefully that can be opened and closed
• Maybe some other smaller skylights as well
• Radiant floor heating (very important)
• Use normal electricity now - substitute solar later - then have normal electricity as backup
• Later add three more circular rooms with doors at points of connection with a covered patio
• Include a loft in the first room
• Dry toilet
• Wood interior wall with air chamber for noise, heat, wiring, plumbing

Questions:

• Can we make this house amenable to a second floor later? How much extra cost?
• How thick will the wall be?
• Could we make most of the windows (and the door) flat if they were small enough to fit within the circular wall?
• Where will the overhead water tank be?
