Unanswered questions

• Shall we include "social service" as a proposed requirement for all members?

[Tim] Yes, but define it.

• Has multi-purpose groups that combine personal growth and political action and ecological action been done before?

[Tim] I did it briefly through three programs, including Mission Ball and Climb Today's Mountain. But I have to believe that someone is doing it somewhere. Some churches might call it stewardship (but sometimes the word just means tithing.)

• Shall we include "ecological action" as a proposed requirement for all members?

[Tim] Yes, but define it. For example, is helping a bill on wetlands ecological action or political action? Of course it's both, but how should people count it? We should also make a case for why we are asking for balance and many-pronged action, and why a single focus is probably an inferior approach

• Shall we get our own domain name?

[Tim] Yes, but it should be memorable and "sexy."
