A suggested email or letter to send to people who may be interested/ also a PDF of a flyer/ also a brief sample bulletin announcement.
A suggested agenda for a first organizing meeting, or maybe two organizing meetings.
A list of guidelines for group behavior. Do's and don't. For instance, "When it's your turn to talk about your progress, don't give us a long list of everything you've done, but focus on a few areas, maybe what you are most proud of or where you most need support." Also, good kinds of responses: encouraging statements; statements that ask people to make their goals specific, etc.
Something about screening people for psychological problems/ or statements about what's not appropriate for the group. "Ah, now let me tell you all about my sex life with squirrels..."
A process for ejecting people from the group who are causing too much trouble (after a process for trying to help them behave appropriately.)
Some kind of legal disclaimer, or exploration of legalities. I.e., "This is not counseling."
A suggestion and process for evaluation. Either there will be a small portion of each meeting for giving feedback on the meeting, or there will be a meeting every four or six weeks or so, partially devoted to evaluation.
Suggestions (do's and don'ts) on recruiting people. [added 2/17]
An appendix on active listening.\\
An appendix on the normal stages of a group's life.
An appendix on typical small group problems and solutions.
